STUDIO UPDATE

Still Remains have been hard at work for the last 9 months writing and preparing for their 2nd studio album tentatively titled "The Serpent." On January 21st the band entered an LA studio w/ acclaimed producer, Steve Evets (Story of the Year, He Is Legend, Saves the Day), to begin the recording process. "It's been a long wait for us," comments band front man, TJ Miller. "It's such a refreshing feeling to finally be in the studio again, working on all the material we have been writing for the past year. But our patience is now, finally paying off. We have been in LA now for the past 2 weeks working on pre-production, and the drums are almost finished. The Serpent is a lot darker, and more honest of an album as we have ever written. Expect the unexpected as these songs are faster, darker, heavier, and more melodic than anything we have ever written as a band."

The tentative song titles for The Serpent (in no particular order):

Anemia in your sheets
Stay Captive
Dancing with the enemy
Avalanche
Maria
Dropped from the Cherry Tree
The Wax Walls of an empty room
An undesired Reunion
The Serpent
I could never be your lover
Eye of the Storm
Float like a feather
What is love?
The River Song
Sleepless Nights Alone

The Serpent is slated for a Summer '07 release but the band won't be waiting until then to hit the road. Expect to See Still Remains on tour in early spring and continuing the world wide conquest throughout the year into 2008. "We feel that it is very important for the entire world to hear this record. This album is going to be monumental, so we plan on touring on it until our bodies quit functioning."

Throughout the recording process Still Remains will be filming and posting photos and videos for podcasts. See the making of The Serpent chronicled for you to view on your ipod or itunes! In and out of Studio antics will make for a good view! Keep checking the Myspace for updates, podcasts and insanity!

Soooo.......what new exciting stuff is going on with still remains??? Let me tell you:

So far the "Of love and lunacy" headlining tour has been amazing, thanks to everyone that's has-and is going to come out!

Recently been nominted in Metal Hammer Magazine as the best new band of 2005... we will have a link up soon for all of you to go and vote soon.

We've offically been added to the Strhess tour along side with Shadows Fall, Poison The Well and It Dies Today...there are other bands jumping on some of the dates as well.

On 2 off dates of the strhess we have been added to the Sounds of the underground tour, I think its a California and Arizona date.

FRICKEN MET KERRY KING LAST WEEK!!!!!!!

Getting ready for our first headlining tour in the UK with Sinai Beach and Demericus coming along with us. So all you uk fans be sure to pick up your pre - sale tickets ASAP!

And last but definitly not least we have been writting so much new material and are VERY EXCITED to spend all of june and august home piecing it all together and prepairing to hit the studio for our next record.
